Crystal Lake Historical Society Home of the Pierce House Museum on Water Street in Barton. There are photographs and artifacts from Barton’s industries and schools in an 1820s house. There is also a model of 200-year old Barton Mill Hill, the “Brick Kingdom” factory site. Activities include summer exhibits. Formed in 1990 as an outgrowth of Glover's Bicentennial in 1983, the Glover Historical Society is committed to preserving our heritage. The organization gathers historical documents and texts and then publishes numerous books for the public.
